Serikandi Group of Companies held an Intern Closing Ceremony last week at the headquarters in Kuala Belait, marking the successful completion of a seven-month internship programme.

The event celebrated the achievements of 10 interns from Institut Teknologi Brunei (IBTE), Politeknik Brunei, Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), and the University of Cyberjaya. Throughout their placement from January to July, the interns were attached to various departments, including Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Mechanical Construction Division (MCD), Non-Oil & Gas Civil, Accounts, Victualing, Offshore Catering Division (OCD), and Serikandi Café & Restaurant (SCR).

During the ceremony, department representatives highlighted the interns’ contributions, acknowledging their dedication and the fresh perspectives they brought to the workplace. The programme provided the students with valuable exposure to real-world operations, equipping them with practical skills and industry experience.

Serikandi extends its appreciation to all interns for their commitment and enthusiasm throughout the programme and looks forward to continuing its efforts in nurturing young talent through future collaborations with academic institutions.
