Serikandi Holdings & Apollo Hospitals: MoU for Clinical Collaboration and Digital health Connectivity in Brunei Darussalam

In a landmark move for Brunei’s healthcare sector, Serikandi Holdings and Apollo Hospitals signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) focused on “Strengthening Healthcare by Clinical Collaboration and Digital Health Connectivity in Brunei Darussalam.” This partnership aims to bring advanced medical expertise and digital health solutions to Brunei, paving the way for enhanced healthcare connectivity and collaboration.

The signing ceremony, held in Chennai, was attended by Mr. Revi Bhaskaran, CEO of Serikandi Group of Companies, Dr. RK Venkatesalam, Director of Medical Services at Apollo Hospitals, His Excellency Dato Paduka Haji Alaihuddin bin Pehin Orang Kaya Digadong Seri Lela Dato Seri Utama Haji Awang Mohd Taha, Brunei’s High Commissioner to India, and Mr. Daniel Leong, Acting CEO of the Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB).

Following the MoU signing, Mr. Revi Bhaskaran and representatives from BEDB visited the Apollo Proton Cancer Centre, where they observed Apollo’s state-of-the-art technologies and specialized proton therapy services. This visit highlighted Apollo’s commitment to international standards of patient care and innovation, inspiring Serikandi and BEDB representatives with the possibilities of integrating these advancements into Brunei’s healthcare system.
